Senior QA Web Tester (JA-MY-2009-100008)

Overview

The incumbent will have the ability to translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans, cases and scripts. The individual in this role will work with our Developers and Project Mangers to ensure all requests are completed correctly and accurately. The job scopes include:

• Create a test plan, document the test strategy and create and execute test script.
• Identify requirements gaps to ensure operational and testing coverage.
• Debug and troubleshoot system functionality issues.
• Use specific tools to report and track issues.
• Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to team leads.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience testing web based applications using manual and automated testing methods, specifically browser based applications.
• Experience managing support defects and enhancement requirements.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Visio, Automated Testing Tools, Issues tracking tools.
• Experience with all phases of application development life cycle with a focus on Quality.
